About the role
- Airbnb is seeking first-year, full-time MBA students to join the Finance organization as Strategic Finance & Analytics Interns for the 2027 Summer Intern Program.
- The Strategic Finance & Analytics team sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and the business, partnering directly with leaders to guide investments and growth.
- Interns contribute to challenging projects and gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day execution and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to decision-makers
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge
- Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders
- Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
- Team up with colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives
- Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights
- Seek and offer feedback in a supportive, growth-oriented environment
- Participate in team meetings, learning sessions, and community events
- Share ideas and unique perspectives
Requirements
- First-year, full-time MBA students (expected graduation Spring 2028) at accredited U.S. business schools
- 3–5 years of professional experience in areas such as financial planning & analysis, corporate development, management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or business operations
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to define and execute projects independently
- Strong relationship-building skills with various internal and external stakeholders
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior leaders
- Robust quantitative skills and experience analyzing complex data to deliver actionable recommendations
- Experience with SQL, financial modeling, data analysis and visualization
- AI fluency and sound AI judgment
- Ability to manage time and adapt to changing priorities
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications
- Experience conducting industry research and due diligence
