EarnIn is looking for a hands-on Tech Lead Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team comprising backend and mobile engineers for a core services team.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of early-stage, innovative products that drive company growth.
This is a hybrid position based in the Bengaluru office, requiring 2 days a week in the office.

Partner closely with product and other engineering teams to improve business metrics and build new features.
Drive the design and implementation of new product areas and features, translating complexity into elegant design and maintainable code.
Guide the team through ambiguity and ensure technical excellence through rapid experimentation cycles.
Guide the team to strong execution, making pragmatic decisions, launching MVPs quickly, and iterating based on feedback.
Lead the team through frequent pivots and evolving priorities in a fast-changing environment.
Recruit other great engineers for the team and support recruiting efforts across teams.
Mentor and coach the engineers on the team, helping them advance their careers.
Manage cross-functional relationships with all teams to deliver high-quality products.

Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading a small team as a manager or tech lead manager.
Experience working comfortably with a cross-functional team of PMs, Analysts, and mobile and back-end-focused engineers.
Experience leading a team that consistently delivered high-quality output on critical infrastructure projects.

Preferred tech skills: C#, .NET/.NET Core, Kotlin, Python, SQL, Databricks, AWS, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, Kafka, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar tools) as part of your software development workflow.
Experience in fintech is a plus.
Experience leading the design, implementation, and deployment of high-scale cross-functional payments systems.
