About the role
- The Senior Technology Product Owner will be responsible for translating business intent into a prioritized, delivery-ready backlog for ECDF.
- This role acts as an on-shore bridge between UK stakeholders and India-based build teams, ensuring alignment with People Business outcomes and Digital X principles.
Responsibilities
- Own the technology product backlog for ECDF, ensuring alignment to People Business outcomes, HR policy, and Digital X principles.
- Act as the on-shore bridge between UK stakeholders and India-based build teams.
- Make in-flight prioritization decisions balancing experience, risk, governance, and delivery pace.
- Manage scope, dependencies, and delivery sequencing in partnership with Scrum Masters and Solution Architects.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience as a technology product owner.
- Strong understanding of technology platforms and enterprise delivery within NatWest.
- Deep familiarity with NWG internal ecosystem including Workday, corporate SSO, security policies, and CTO/CDIO design governance.
- Experience operating within NWG assurance processes including DPIA/GDPR, records management, security risk assessment, and design board submissions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Cloud-native mindset with hands-on understanding of AWS-based application architectures, APIs, and integration patterns in a regulated environment.
- Experience working in agile product teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience delivering enterprise platforms or organization-wide tooling.
