About the role
- Capco is seeking a Test Analyst with banking experience for roles in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- The role involves end-to-end testing, defining test strategies and plans, and managing user acceptance testing.
Responsibilities
- Define the Test Strategy & Test Plan document
- Design the test cases and prepare the testers for UAT
- Understand application business area and application requirements in the banking environment
- Manage user acceptance testing in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Perform test planning, test execution, test management, defect tracking, and test progress reporting
- Coordinate SIT and UAT across multi-phase projects
Requirements
- End-to-end testing experience
- Experience in managing user acceptance testing in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Experience in test planning, test execution, test management, defect tracking skill and test progress reporting
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Unix, UAT, SQL queries, Mantis, Data Migration
- Fluency in Mandarin AND Cantonese is a MUST
Preferred qualifications
- Business Analyst background
- Agile experience for SIT and UAT coordination
- ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL) or working toward it
- Experience in Banking domain OR Insurance / Financial Services industry
