IXL Learning is seeking a Tutor Training Specialist to join the Rosetta Stone Language Tutor Team and help tutors deliver engaging, effective learning experiences.
This role involves developing and delivering tutor training while also regularly providing tutoring sessions to stay connected to the learner experience.

Mentor tutors and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback to help them strengthen their teaching and deliver polished, engaging tutoring sessions
Facilitate onboarding with new tutors
Deliver effective 1:1 and small-group tutoring sessions for learners across a variety of proficiency levels and adapt your approach to meet different learner needs
Assist in the distribution, implementation, and completion tracking of tutor trainings
Identify opportunities to improve the tutoring experience and bring innovative ideas and solutions to team leadership
Contribute to projects and initiatives across the Language Tutoring team, bringing a strong understanding of tutoring pedagogy and the learner experience
Assist in development of new tutoring lessons and materials

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in language instruction
Experience mentoring, coaching, or training educators
Ability to anticipate needs and act independently to deliver results, showing resourcefulness in tackling tasks and projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for teaching and learning languages
Experience with Google Suite, including Sheets, Gmail, Docs
