About the role
- Pinterest is seeking inquisitive university graduates to join their engineering teams to work on large-scale systems and new technologies.
- The role involves collaborating with mentors and cross-functional partners to build products, features, and tools that support the Pinterest platform.
- Candidates will leverage AI tools in their daily engineering workflow to accelerate delivery and contribute across backend, full stack, mobile, web, and security domains.
Responsibilities
- Deliver code that is well-documented, tested, and operable
- Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end
- Take ownership of the completion, quality, and maintainability of tasks and projects
- Leverage AI tools for brainstorming, writing and refining code, and producing documentation
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to build products, systems, and tools
- Proactively communicate ideas and perspectives
- Contribute to engineering work across backend, full stack, mobile, web, and security domains
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, expected by June 2027
- Must be available to start full-time between January 2027 and September 2027
- At least one year of programming experience through internships, research, coursework, teaching, personal projects, open source, or hackathons
- Familiarity using AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++
- Strong communication skills and product sense

- Base salary range of $129,022—$174,283 USD

Workplace

- Hybrid model involves in-person collaboration approximately 1–2 times per week for those within commutable distance to an office.
