About the role
- The AV Engineer - Platform will own the AV experience across EMEA, managing meeting rooms, boardrooms, labs, and digital signage.
- This role involves designing, delivering, and maintaining AV solutions while providing high-quality support for executive and VIP meetings.
- The engineer will lead AV projects, deploy AI-powered collaboration capabilities, and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Own the AV experience across EMEA, including meeting rooms, boardrooms, common areas, labs, lounges, and digital signage.
- Provide high-quality AV support for executive and VIP meetings.
- Design, document, deliver, and maintain AV solutions and technical standards in partnership with the global AV team.
- Review technical designs and documentation from external integrators.
- Lead AV initiatives and projects from scope definition through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
- Act as an escalation point for complex AV issues and support incident, problem, and change management.
- Monitor AV infrastructure and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Deploy and support AI-powered capabilities across meeting rooms and video conferencing.
- Maintain AV asset information, contribute to forecasting and budgeting, and create technical documentation and training materials.
- Build relationships with vendors, integrators, and internal partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of AV experience with a track record of delivering projects through design, integration, commissioning, and support.
- Understanding of hardware including DSP, control processors, and amplifiers.
- Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and monitoring video conferencing systems like Google Meet hardware and Zoom Rooms.
- Experience supporting senior executives or VIPs in time-sensitive environments.
- Understanding of IT and networking fundamentals, including how AV systems communicate across enterprise networks.
- Familiarity with Dante and Q-SYS, including multicast, QoS, and clocking.
- Experience using ticketing or work-management systems such as Jira.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and create effective documentation.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience configuring Q-SYS designs
- AVIXA CTS certification
- Q-SYS Level 2 certification
- Dante Level 3 certification
Workplace
- Role is based in Stockholm.
- Requires coming into the office 4-5 times per week.
- Offers flexibility to work from home outside of required in-person meetings.
