About the role
- The Analytics Engineer will work on both the business and technology sides of the Business Intelligence program at Netskope.
- The role involves managing the full data pipeline, from ingesting raw sources and transforming data to creating visualizations.
- The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to identify new datasets and generate high-value business insights.
Responsibilities
- Extract data from various source systems inside and outside of Netskope.
- Load data into the Snowflake data warehouse.
- Transform data in the warehouse using SQL and DBT to create consumable data models.
- Create visualizations in Looker.
- Ensure the timeliness and quality of data.
- Work with the BI team on requirements to solve business data needs.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience working with DBT
- 3+ years experience with data visualization software (Looker, Tableau)
- 2+ years experience extracting data with Python
- Strong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems
- Bachelors or Masters degree
