About the role
- As a Business Consultant at Capco, you will work alongside our clients on a wide range of strategic, business and transformation challenges within the financial services sector.
- Your assignments can vary significantly, from redesigning business processes and translating needs into requirements to supporting large-scale transformation or operating model implementation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business challenges and translate them into clear recommendations and actionable solutions.
- Gather, structure and challenge business requirements.
- Map and optimize business processes and customer journeys.
- Support business and digital transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to target operating model and organizational design projects.
- Prepare workshops, presentations and decision materials for client stakeholders.
- Coordinate with business, technology, operations, risk and other teams.
- Support project and change management activities.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the client organization.
- Bring structure to complex problems and help move projects from analysis to implementation.
Requirements
- Professional experience within banking, insurance, payments, capital markets, wealth or asset management, or another financial services environment.
- Experience in consulting, business analysis, transformation, project delivery or a comparable role.
- A broad understanding of how financial institutions operate, including their products, processes and regulatory environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The flexibility to move between different projects, topics and client environments.
- A hands-on mentality and the ability to take ownership of your work.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional fluency in English and good knowledge of Dutch.
