About the role
- As Chief Executive Officer at BeQuick, you will own the whole business including strategy, product direction, go-to-market, team, and P&L with full operational authority.
- The role requires growing recurring revenue, protecting retention and pricing power in a concentrated customer market, and pushing the product forward on an AI-first thesis.
Responsibilities
- Grow recurring revenue in a market where the buyer universe is finite and every new logo is a competitive displacement or a launch you help stand up.
- Protect retention and pricing power, managing customer concentration by defending relationships and widening the base under them.
- Push the product forward on an AI-first thesis to turn transaction, usage, and margin data into wholesale margin intelligence, churn prediction, and automated care.
- Expand adjacent markets such as converged billing for ISPs and WISPs, and other subscriber-billing markets sharing the same operational spine.
- Own the carrier and regulatory surface, including carrier partnership diligence, enterprise security questionnaires, and compliance posture.
- Negotiate your own MSAs and renewals, walk into a carrier's supplier review, and present to a board without a chief of staff.
- Lead the Head of Development and a strong engineering team while making credible build-versus-buy calls.
Requirements
- Executive experience (CEO, COO, CRO, CPO, GM, or SVP-level) at an MVNO, MVNE, or MVNA, or at a company selling directly into them.
- Direct P&L ownership with accountability for growth, net revenue retention, and margin.
- Working fluency in wireless operations: wholesale carrier economics, activation and provisioning, rating and mediation, number porting, eSIM and BYOD, device financing, dealer and retail channels.
- Practical command of the regulatory environment: CPNI and Section 222, CALEA, STIR/SHAKEN, USF and state regulatory fees, 10DLC, and the post-ACP Lifeline landscape.
- Technical literacy sufficient to make credible build-versus-buy calls and to be a real counterpart to an engineering leader.
- Demonstrated use of AI in a product, in a business, or both, with a clear point of view on where it creates durable value versus where it is theater.
- Track record leading a small, senior, fully remote team.
Preferred qualifications
- ISP, WISP, or fixed wireless billing exposure.
- M&A experience, either as an acquirer of small software assets or as an operator inside an acquired company.
- Has led a company or business unit through a repositioning, pricing redesign, or platform transition before the market forced it.
- Experience with B2B SaaS in a concentrated-customer environment, including how to grow out of concentration rather than just survive it.
- Hands-on carrier relationship management with T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T wholesale organizations.
- Familiarity with telecom tax and compliance engines, and with the operational reality of migrating between them.
Workplace
- The team is about 15 people, fully remote, and unusually senior for its size.
