About the role
- Plaid is seeking its first recruiting hire in Europe to lead full-cycle hiring across the region.
- This role involves building best-in-class teams, developing hiring strategies, and acting as a talent consultant to leadership as the company expands its European presence.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for European business teams including Sales, Growth, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and People roles.
- Partner with hiring managers in Europe and the US to scale regional teams.
- Build localized recruiting processes and implement best practices.
- Act as a talent consultant to hiring managers regarding market conditions and hiring strategy.
- Advise on fair and consistent interviewing practices.
- Improve and scale an inclusive candidate experience.
- Use data to identify funnel gaps and recommend improvements.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to close.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in-house or agency.
- Experience in a fast-growing, changing environment.
- Experience building or improving recruiting processes.
- Ability to maintain a candidate-first approach balancing speed, quality, and experience.
- Clear and effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ownership, discretion with confidential information, and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience hiring across multiple European markets.
- Familiarity with fintech or financial services.
