About the role
- Dex is Headout’s venture creating cinematic, immersive, narrative-driven audio tours for venues and neighbourhoods worldwide.
- The Creative Producer owns the full production lifecycle of a tour from research and script development through audio production, QA, and launch.
Responsibilities
- Own the full production lifecycle of a tour from research and script development through audio production, QA to launch
- Work within Dex’s established scriptwriting frameworks and production infrastructure
- Redraft parts of a script and manage delivery timelines
- Collaborate with writers, business teams, partners, audio production, and venue stakeholders to keep production on schedule
- Determine what guests hear by curating stories from available information
- Manage multiple tours in parallel across different production stages
- Improve processes and raise the bar
- Analyse feedback and use it to sharpen tours
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience that includes both narrative or scriptwriting output, particularly in audio, video, or long-form storytelling, and project coordination across timelines, vendors, and deliverables
- Strong research instincts with attention to factual accuracy, sourcing, and the ability to identify and shape the most compelling stories
- AI fluency with familiarity with AI tools and an ability to use them to improve and streamline the production process
- Structured creative thinking and comfort working within a structured creative framework
- Highly organised ability to manage multiple priorities, stay on top of timelines and deliverables, and work collaboratively
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with travel vlogs, travel writing, or experiential tourism content
- Experience with voice AI production tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Seedream, etc.)
- Background in history, urban geography, or place-based storytelling
