About the role
- Angel City FC is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to join our Data team for the fall semester.
- This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in coding and sports business analytics while giving you an inside look at how a professional sports organization operates.
- In this role, you’ll work closely with the Data team to support tracking key metrics across major business verticals.
Responsibilities
- Support ticketing analytics by preparing reports on pricing optimization and forecasting
- Assist with writing and reviewing code, testing dashboards, and creating documentation
- Research and document legacy reporting and business KPIs while leveraging AI
- Research applicable marketing trends and their impact on ticketing
- Collaborate with Ticket Sales to communicate complex insights in a clear and compelling way
- Support additional projects and assignments that provide opportunities to learn and contribute to the team
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college/university program, recently graduated, or have equivalent education or experience, preferably in data science, statistics, business or a related area
- An interest in sports, ticket sales, or data
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with different teams and personalities
- Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions, learn, and take initiative
- A genuine interest in Angel City FC and our mission
