About the role
- Instacart is looking for a Data Operations Manager to lead cross-functional operational initiatives from concept to production.
- The role combines technical understanding with operational execution to build scalable operational processes and high-quality datasets that power advanced AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and scale operational processes that support onboarding, ongoing operations, and future growth.
- Lead end-to-end technical implementation projects across product, engineering, machine learning, and operation teams.
- Drive operational excellence through KPI ownership, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the operationalization and rollout of AI and machine learning solutions into production environments.
- Take ownership of complex operational challenges, ensuring successful execution and measurable business impact.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Data Operations, Technical Operations, Project Management, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience working in an R&D environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience leading technical implementation or integration projects.
- Experience working with Computer Vision, AI, or Machine Learning products.
- Experience with large-scale data annotation or data quality operations.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets.
