About the role
- Linear is looking for a Design Engineer with strong visual taste to help drive creative initiatives across web and brand.
- This role involves working within the internal creative agency, the Magic Team, to help communicate Linear's story.
Responsibilities
- Build complex and interactive UI web/app experiences
- Build beautiful, responsive websites, landing pages, and internal tools
- Implement creative animations and interactions in code
- Explore visual design in Figma and translate it to web-native experiences
Requirements
- Eye for good design
- Strong frontend engineering skills
- Experience building end-to-end websites and landing pages
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience using agentic coding tools as part of the design process
- A portfolio or Twitter profile showcasing a range of technical skills, a creative use of code, and prototyping skills
