About Peloton

  • As an Electrical Engineer II, you’ll help develop and validate the electrical systems that bring motion, connectivity, and intelligence to world-class fitness products that our customers love. We’re looking for a hands-on electrical engineer with experience in new product development who enjoys working in the lab, solving challenging technical problems, and turning designs into reliable production hardware.
  • In this role, you’ll work closely with senior electrical engineers as well as Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Product, and Manufacturing teams to develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical hardware. You’ll also collaborate directly with our global JDM and manufacturing partners during product development and prototype builds. If you enjoy hands-on engineering, learning across a broad range of electrical disciplines, and seeing products progress from prototypes to production, this is an opportunity to grow your technical expertise and take on increasing levels of engineering ownership.

  • This hands-on role involves working in a lab environment to solve technical problems and transition designs from prototypes to reliable production hardware.
  • The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and global manufacturing partners to ensure product performance and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on electrical testing and validation using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and regulatory test equipment.
  • Support electrical system development including schematic capture, component selection, and design reviews.
  • Perform occasional PCB layout or board modifications.
  • Work with global vendors, JDM partners, and manufacturing teams to support prototype builds and design validation.
  • Investigate electrical and system-level issues on existing products to identify root causes.
  • Develop and validate solutions for technical issues and document results in engineering reports.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Quality, and Compliance teams on multidisciplinary challenges.
  • Travel internationally approximately 4–6 times per year to support JDM development and prototype builds.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in new product development.
  • Demonstrated experience building, testing, debugging, and modifying electrical hardware in a lab.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other electrical test equipment.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
  • Ability to make schematic or board-level design changes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document test results, investigations, and design decisions in professional reports.

Preferred qualifications

  • MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, appliance, fitness, or automotive industries.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance test equipment.
  • Experience with Altium Designer.

Benefits
