- The Engineering Manager for Core DevOps will build, manage, and support a globally distributed engineering team focused on core repository capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and mentor a globally distributed engineering team.
- Hire, onboard, and develop engineers while maintaining standards for quality and psychological safety.
- Partner with product management, design, and cross-functional teams to align technical direction and roadmaps.
- Guide engineers on system architecture, code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Manage and refine agile, remote, and asynchronous workflows.
- Integrate AI capabilities and modern developer tooling into daily workflows.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones and provide actionable feedback for career progression.
- Maintain visibility into operational health and participate in incident management rotations.
Requirements
- Experience managing engineering teams, providing architectural guidance, and building team accountability.
- Background in enterprise software development, distributed systems, and software delivery pipelines.
- Experience aligning stakeholders across product, design, engineering, and infrastructure.
- Track record of establishing effective engineering processes and managing delivery execution in ambiguous situations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote-first, asynchronous, and globally distributed environments.
- Commitment to building inclusive, psychologically safe team cultures.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools and modern software workflows.
