At a glance

This role owns the master data that the finance half of the digital twin runs on, including the chart of accounts, legal entities, cost centers, vendors, customers, and item and work-order masters.
You will work with stakeholders from across the company to understand how Anduril functions and implement both policy and tooling to keep data trustworthy at scale.

Own the architecture of master data for finance, including chart of accounts and GL segments, legal entities, cost centers, suppliers, customers, and the item/part and work-order masters that feed inventory valuation and cost accounting.
Define and enforce the policy layer, establishing domain ownership, creation and change rules, required validations, and review and audit procedures.
Build applications and automation that make compliance the path of least resistance, such as request and approval workflows, duplicate detection, validation at entry, and golden-record reconciliation across ERP and the warehouse.
Establish data stewardship practices with data owners across Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Operations, and lead initiatives that measurably improve data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
Partner with Controllership and FP&A to make month-end faster and the numbers more defensible by addressing master data problems behind manual reconciliation, mapping spreadsheets, and restated allocations.
Work with the teams building ERP and analytics platforms to ensure master data flows cleanly from transactional systems into the warehouse and reporting layers.
Seek out problems that can be solved by improving master data and proactively work with the organization to make it a reality.
Become a trusted resource for Anduril leadership in helping them manage their data more effectively.

2+ years in a master data management focused role such as business systems, program management, finance systems, compliance, or data governance, with proven experience in data architecture and a focus on master data.
Exposure to finance and accounting fundamentals including general ledger and chart of accounts structure, cost centers and allocations, and the impact of master data errors on the monthly close.
You are motivated by the company mission to solve the biggest problems in defense.
Familiarity with data security and compliance requirements like GDPR and CCPA.
U.S. Persons status is required to access export-controlled data.

Experience being hands on keyboard technical, such as backgrounds as a Technical Analyst or Consultant with a strong engineering background, or as a Data or Analytics Engineer.
Hands-on experience with an enterprise ERP such as Oracle Fusion Cloud (Financials, SCM, Cost Management) or comparable NetSuite or SAP modules and their master data objects.
Experience with a dedicated MDM or data governance platform, or having stood one up from scratch.
Familiarity with modern data platforms and analytics tooling including warehouses, Foundry, dbt, and Looker or Tableau, and how they integrate with transactional finance systems.
Exposure to manufacturing data including item and BOM masters, work-order costing, standard versus actual cost, and inventory valuation.
Experience standing up data standards for a company scaling quickly through new entities, sites, or geographies.
Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Experience with SQL and/or Python or other programming languages.
