About the role
- The Financial Settlement Specialist ensures the accurate and timely settlement of events through the AXS ticketing platform.
- This role involves reconciling financial data, collaborating with internal teams, and providing support to clients and venue partners.
Responsibilities
- Run weekly reports from the AXS ticketing system to track revenues and liabilities.
- Assist with reconciliation and financial analysis projects.
- Work with clients’ finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial settlement of events.
- Calculate settlement amounts and fees for events sold in the AXS system.
- Provide reporting to clients to support settlement payments and invoices.
- Assist venue partners with reporting and financial issues related to AXS ticketing.
- Respond to client inquiries about settlement and finance issues.
- Accurately audit fee structures based on client contracts.
- Work with the accounting team to produce journal entries for general ledger support.
Requirements
- AA/AS Degree (2-year) in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Live Events, or Ticketing.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with auditing procedures.
