About the role
- The Fraud Analyst will own the fraud-related aspects of the user segmentation system for the Puzzleplay platform.
- The role involves analyzing fraud and activity signals to inform revenue-share decisions and collaborating with product and data teams to adapt to evolving fraud patterns.
Responsibilities
- Review, add, remove, and refine fraud signals to distinguish suspicious activity from legitimate users.
- Own fraud-related segments of the user segmentation system, including interpretation and monitoring.
- Collaborate with the product team on fraud verification tools for different markets.
- Investigate users flagged for manual review, including ambiguous cases in the Tremendous queue.
- Identify gaps in available signals and recommend third-party tools for the product roadmap.
- Improve the manual review process.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention decisions.
- Experience designing or improving fraud signals, user segments, or review processes.
- Ability to work with product and other teams to turn analysis into operational fraud controls.
Workplace
- Role is open to candidates based in Europe.
