About the role
- The FSA Business Architecture role focuses on defining and owning the Future State Business Architecture for regulatory reporting within the controllership value stream.
- The role acts as a business representative in technology and data architecture forums to ensure solution designs align with business outcomes and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Define, document, and maintain the Future State Business Architecture (FSA) for regulatory reporting, covering end-to-end capabilities, services, and processes.
- Translate Finance strategy, regulatory needs, and value stream objectives into a target operating model and business architecture blueprint.
- Ensure architecture is outcome-led and measurable through agreed success metrics.
- Act as the Finance value stream business representative in technology, data, and AI architecture forums.
- Provide clear business requirements, constraints, and priorities to architecture and engineering teams.
- Partner with architects to ensure consistent definitions for key data entities, lineage, controls, and usage.
- Support value stream teams in the detailed design of FSA-aligned capabilities, services, and processes.
- Provide architecture input into delivery planning, including epics, features, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Engage and influence senior Finance stakeholders, Value Stream leads, and Product Owners to secure alignment.
- Drive simplification and standardization of Finance processes and data structures.
