The Hunter Douglas Global Management Trainee Program (GMT) is a 10-month comprehensive Leadership Development program sponsored by the Executive Leadership Team.
It provides tools and experiences to develop future leaders while offering a holistic view of the business through immersion in the company, culture, and industry.
Participants engage in onboarding, field training rotations, methodology training, an individual project, and a capstone presentation leading to full-time placement.

Complete three weeks of onboarding, starting with one week at a local hub and a Global Induction at HQ.
Undergo five months of Field Training rotating through Sales, Supply, Logistics, Product, and Customer Service.
Actively participate in daily operations and project work during each rotation.
Complete one week of Leadership and Methodology training.
Execute a four-month individual project delivering tangible and measurable results.
Deliver a Capstone presentation of the project to Leadership.

Have an anticipated graduation date no later than June 2027 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Demonstrate leadership capabilities through extracurricular activities including job experiences, internships, student clubs and organizations, and volunteer work.
Relocate to one of the major location hubs in either Nottingham, UK or Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Be ready to tackle new challenges in diverse environments including front line roles in the field, manufacturing plants, and regional offices.
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and an open-minded approach to career development with a willingness to gain experience across multiple functions.

Native, fluent, or professional-level Dutch language proficiency is advantageous.
