About the role
- The Implementation Consultant will own the technical configuration for new Ashby customers, bridging the gap between potential and actual product value.
- This role is part of the Professional Services team and is designed as a pathway for career growth into a senior Implementation Specialist position.
- The consultant will partner with Implementation Specialists to confirm requirements, lead tailored platform configurations, and define testing plans prior to go-live.
Responsibilities
- Own execution of technical configuration for a defined set of new customers.
- Partner with Implementation Specialists to confirm customer requirements.
- Lead the tailored configuration of native platform functionality.
- Define and carry out testing plans ahead of customer go-live.
- Document final configuration choices to ensure visibility and post-launch optimization.
- Address thematic customer opportunities and improve internal processes.
- Anticipate impacts of configuration decisions and provide risk mitigation tactics.
- Advise customers on software best practices to ensure optimal value.
- Navigate change management processes to help customers adapt to new systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
Requirements
- Deep experience contributing to or owning implementation projects for complex SaaS products.
- Ability to action a defined project plan and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first setting.
- Experience navigating change management processes.
- Strong understanding of complex product technical intricacies.
- Ability to travel as needed (less than 5%) for strategic customer engagements.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior familiarity with Talent Acquisition teams and processes.
