About the role
- The Intake Specialist is an expert in all aspects of product intake within our advanced Operations team.
- Responsibilities include accurately logging consignments, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with various teams to streamline operations.
Responsibilities
- Organize product drops between Business Development and Operations to ensure products are correctly received under the designated account
- Ensure that all mail-in and dropped-off Flight Club consignments are correctly received under the designated account
- Record and troubleshoot any issues with Flight Club submissions, promptly notifying the appropriate people
- Communicate promptly about any product intake discrepancies
- Assist inventory account for all intake that has been received
- Record and document upcoming bulk consignment drop-offs, coordinating with the relevant teams
- Receive and pack out products with the Fulfillment team
- Assist in training for product intake procedures with GOAT and Flight Club
- Work in a dynamic warehouse environment with heavy equipment
- Remain flexible to perform other duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- A hard worker who excels in large team environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively transfer ideas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- A quick learner and self-starter, capable of handling increasing levels of responsibility
- Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak periods to meet business demands
- Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 35 pounds)
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge and passion for sneakers is a plus, including familiarity with industry trends and resources
