About the role
- The Legal Operations Specialist will build the systems and infrastructure necessary to scale the legal function at Fireworks AI.
- This role involves owning the evaluation and implementation of the legal tech stack, including the contract lifecycle management system.
- The position serves as the connective tissue between the legal team and cross-functional partners, reporting initially to the General Counsel.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage legal tech vendors and service providers.
- Lead implementation and administration of the contract lifecycle management system.
- Partner with sales, finance, and revenue operations to ensure systems deliver reporting, visibility, and deal insight.
- Build and own renewal and contract obligation tracking and related workflows.
- Develop the processes, metrics, and infrastructure required for a scaling legal function.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant legal operations experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing or administering contract lifecycle management, discovery management, and legal billing systems.
- Familiarity integrating legal systems with Salesforce.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with finance and revenue operations.
- Systems thinker with a bias to action and experience building infrastructure from scratch.
- AI-forward, builder’s mindset with a demonstrated ability to use AI tools to streamline workflows.
