About the role
- The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the facility, including structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- This position serves as the primary contact for external service providers, ensures compliance with OSHA and local building regulations, and supports capital improvement projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance of the facility, including structural, electrical.
- Serve as primary contact for external facility service providers (e.g., janitorial, utilities, waste management).
- Perform routine maintenance on company machinery and coordinate with outside specialists for complex repairs.
- Maintain accurate records related to maintenance activities, service contracts, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.
- Coordinate with local municipalities to maintain compliance with fire codes, building regulations, and other applicable local standards.
- Support capital improvement projects and equipment upgrades as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards, building codes, and fire safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regulatory officials.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for machinery and systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift 50lbs+
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- English proficiency
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
