About the role
- The Packaging Specialist is responsible for the labeling, pouring, and packaging of engineered resins used in photochemistry applications. This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 2pm to 10:30pm in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Apply product and compliance labels onto cartridges.
- Pour engineered resins from mixing tanks into cartridges.
- Bag and box engineered resins into individual bags and cartons.
- Tape cartons, insert into master boxes, and palletize products.
- Follow and maintain all documentation associated with quality control.
- Suggest procedural and process improvements to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Provide support to Fulfillment regarding manufacturing process issues.
- Maintain effective oral and written communication across the plant.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good attendance record.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Solid problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods.
