About the role
- KTHV-TV, the TEGNA-owned CBS in Little Rock, Arkansas, is looking for a full-time Photographer/Editor to join our team.
- The ideal candidate is proficient at creating captivating and shareable content for television, social media, and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Use editing tools to create content for Newscast and Digital platforms.
- Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories.
- Work closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists and the digital team.
Requirements
- Current driver’s license and ability to operate news gathering vehicle to and from various locations
- Knowledge of non-linear editing systems using Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop
- Interest in broadcast and digital news content
- Organizational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be deadline-oriented, maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules
- Must be able to work early mornings, nights and weekends
Preferred qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred
