About the role
- The Porter will interact with guests, staff, and management in a private restaurant setting. This role involves restocking supplies, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting kitchen management with daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate consistent sanitation and food safety practices
- Evaluate receiving spaces to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks accurately and on time
- Follow company safety standards and monitor the safety of team members and guests
- Coordinate job duties with other team members to ensure efficient preparation
- Put away food orders and rotate stock in cooler, freezer, and dry storage using FIFO
- Monitor shelf life and code dates for inventory
- Maintain a basic working knowledge of restaurant equipment operation
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of restaurant, warehouse, or customer service experience
- Valid state issued driver's license
- Must be willing to travel to various SpaceX locations for mission critical projects
- Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to meet ITAR requirements
