The Principal Solutions Engineer acts as a trusted technical expert, helping Fortune 1,000 customers evaluate and implement SingleStore's data platform. This role involves partnering with Enterprise Account Executives to drive sales, design proofs of concept, and solve complex technical challenges for mission-critical business needs.

Partner with prospects and customers to educate them on SingleStore's strategy, technologies, and vision.
Collaborate with Account Executives to close new business and expand existing accounts.
Coordinate with internal Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing teams to share customer feedback.
Design, develop, and deploy Proofs of Concept (POCs) with prospective customers.
Drive the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle as the technical lead.
Perform query tuning and load testing.
Develop channels and partners for co-selling in the region.

Fluency in English and regional languages.
Experience with Gen AI, ML, and Advanced Analytics.
Experience selling enterprise database technologies, distributed systems, or similar products.
Deep understanding of distributed database technologies, including analytic and transactional processing.
Expertise executing POCs and deploying complex technologies into customer environments.
In-depth understanding of data platforms and competitive products like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB, Snowflake, or Databricks.
Experience in cloud and containerized environments, including Linux and Kubernetes.
Proficient programming skills in Python, Java, or other languages.
Ability to travel within the region and internationally.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
