About the role
- The Product Management Director for FamXP will lead complex, cross-product initiatives focused on the safety, privacy, and age-appropriate experiences for kids and families across Epic's platforms.
- This role involves setting the team's strategy, defining product priorities, and establishing operational standards while collaborating with legal, policy, and engineering teams to navigate global regulatory landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Drive FamXP initiatives from strategy through design, build, and launch.
- Partner with engineering, QA, design, legal, policy, and analytics counterparts across multiple product surfaces.
- Maintain clear priorities and visibility into dependencies.
- Develop and communicate FamXP strategy to executive stakeholders.
- Define key metrics and improve product instrumentation.
- Guide team decision-making based on data.
- Translate new global regulatory obligations into actionable product deliverables.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience.
- Track record of owning complex, cross-product, or platform initiatives.
- Direct, hands-on experience partnering with legal, regulatory, or compliance teams.
- Structured thinking ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive stakeholders.
- Quantitative thinking skills to drive product performance visibility.
- User-first mindset.
- Strong technical foundation with a track record of learning new technologies quickly.
- Collaborative approach with a focus on transparency and accountability.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-evolving environment.
