About the role
- We are looking for a Program Operations lead to join the Heavy Metal team within Anduril's Maritime Division.
- In this role you will be the operational right hand to the Program Manager for a new platform and serve as the connective tissue across Finance (EVMS), Stakeholder Integration, Supply Chain, Workforce Development, and Facilities.
- This is a hybrid role by design, balancing program-facing execution on cost and schedule with division operations and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the operational backbone for the product Program Manager, coordinating across the program's core AoRs so that the program can scale and meet its deliverables.
- Support Stakeholder Integration across a demanding external environment and key internal contributors by preparing briefing materials, tracking commitments, and closing loops.
- Work alongside Supply Chain to translate procurement and vendor performance data into program-level risk pictures, surfacing long-lead exposure, sole-source concentrations, and supplier ramp risk.
- Partner with Workforce Development on the hiring, training, and skillset scaling plan required to man a program growing at an exponential rate.
- Support Facilities as a program dependency by connecting facility milestones, capital deployment, and production readiness.
- Lead strategic initiatives and special projects on behalf of the Program Manager and Heavy Metal leadership.
- Support the corporate planning cycle for the program by helping build and monitor performance against goals, financial plans, and headcount plans.
- Onboard new team members and help stand up the internal operating cadence including all-hands, business reviews, and division-wide events.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in some combination of program operations, consulting, corporate strategy, finance, defense/aerospace program management, or general business analysis.
- Strong outcome orientation, high humility, and comfort doing unglamorous work of running a large program with high ownership and low ego.
- Ability to translate operational problems into data problems and execute on them.
- Tactical as well as strategic approach with the ability to spend time in the yard, in the data, and in the details.
- Discerning and fast learner capable of moving between finance, supply chain, workforce, and construction fluently.
- Willing and able to be based in Washington, D.C. area with regular travel to Costa Mesa, CA and other Anduril sites.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
Preferred qualifications
- Typically 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
- Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVMS) as a practitioner, auditor, or program leader.
- Prior experience inside a shipbuilding, heavy-manufacturing, aerospace, or large defense program, especially navigating U.S. Navy or prime shipbuilder relationships.
- Experience standing up an operating cadence for a fast-growing team or program.
- Comfort working across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and workforce functions simultaneously.

- Highly competitive equity grants included in the majority of full time offers
- Comprehensive, competitive benefits package supporting health, recovery, and other needs
