About the role
- Join Airbnb's Foundation recruitment team to build diverse teams and establish consultative relationships with business sectors.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences within the global operations function, focusing on community support.
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive the full recruitment cycle, including proactive sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback, and offers for entry to intermediate level roles.
- Build candidate pools for multiple open positions across different teams and regions while prioritizing diversity and balanced candidate slates.
- Foster inclusion by building diverse candidate pools at the top of the recruitment funnel.
- Collaborate with talent partners, hiring managers, HR operations, and finance to develop hiring strategies and plans.
- Influence business leaders and educate hiring managers on processes, interviewing best practices, and decision-making.
- Provide exceptional candidate experiences and invent new ways to surprise and delight candidates throughout the interview process.
- Accurately record candidate data and properly utilize systems to generate reports for the business.
- Find bright and passionate talent for Airbnb using innovative and creative sourcing and engagement methods.
- Represent Airbnb with integrity and professionalism while sharing the company mission with passion and authenticity.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years or more of full-cycle recruiting experience is required.
- Experience working in a high-paced, high-volume recruiting environment with the ability to manage a large number of fast-moving openings.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a tailored and personalized experience to senior executives, stakeholders, and candidates.
- Track record of success in sourcing, evaluating, and closing deals with exceptional candidates in competitive, quota-driven, or commercial markets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical skills and influence leadership.
- Positive and proactive attitude, receptive to feedback and seeking continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in an environment of high ambiguity and rapid growth.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and solution-oriented skills capable of managing multiple simultaneous searches with tight deadlines.
- Genuine curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and high initiative, creativity, perseverance, and flexibility.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting a global operations function, including customer service roles.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms such as Greenhouse, Ashby, and Gem.
- Proven experience using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to design recruiting automations and simplify workflows.
- Ability to communicate in English and French OR Spanish.
Workplace
- Must be based in Canada to perform the work.
- Employees may currently be located in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, or Saskatchewan.
