About the role
- The Sales Operations Associate supports the commercial process, managing customer quotes from initial request through to delivery and invoicing. This is an early-career, hands-on role that provides structured training and opportunities for professional growth within a global technology and logistics company.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end quote process from initial customer enquiry through to quote submission and invoicing
- Assist with bid registrations on OEM platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Liaise with distribution partners to request pricing, track responses, and support competitive quote creation
- Build and maintain quotes in Sage X3 or equivalent systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quotes, pricing data, and customer communications
- Support reviews of completed quotes and projects to identify learning opportunities and process improvements
- Work closely with Account Management to help respond to customer questions relating to quotes, pricing, and timelines
- Assist with project invoicing and support Finance in resolving basic billing queries
- Develop product and solution knowledge across networking and audio-visual hardware
Requirements
- Some experience or education in a business, commercial, or customer-facing environment
- Interest in sales operations, commercial processes, or working within a technology-led business
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with pricing, data, and documentation
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and curious mindset with a willingness to learn and act on feedback
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as part of a wider team
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, or quoting systems such as Sage X3 or similar
- Familiarity with technology, hardware, networking, or audio-visual products
- Experience in a reseller, VAR, or technology services environment
