About the role
- Capco is seeking (Senior) Consultants to support leading financial institutions in the transformation of modern payment landscapes.
- The role involves working at the intersection of business and technology, utilizing AI-supported workflows to drive digital innovation in the payments sector.
Responsibilities
- Support consulting projects in the payments sector from business analysis and conceptual design to testing and implementation.
- Work on transformation projects involving modern payment architectures, regulatory requirements, and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams in both waterfall and agile delivery environments.
- Utilize approved AI tools and automation to improve speed, quality, and insights.
- Take responsibility for specific topic areas and manage sub-projects or small project teams.
- Ensure responsible AI usage through review, human judgment, and defined escalation paths.
- Actively shape internal topics and support the professional and personal development within Capco.
Requirements
- Completed university degree.
- Relevant practical experience in consulting projects within the financial services environment.
- Knowledge of payment topics and processes such as PSD3/PSR, SEPA Classic, Instant Payments, TARGET2, TIPS, Clearing & Settlement, Cash Management, or Correspondent Banking.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Team-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally depending on project assignments.
- Readiness to use approved AI and automation tools responsibly and adhere to compliance guidelines.
