The Senior Integration Engineer will develop and maintain integration and automation solutions for Legion WFM customers.
This role involves designing scalable integration architectures and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise solution architecture.
The position requires participation in an on-call rotation and may involve work outside of standard business hours.

Design and implement scalable integration architectures connecting Legion with HR, POS, Payroll, and other enterprise systems.
Design, build, and test integrations using Workato.
Develop secure and efficient REST APIs within Legion's API-driven ecosystem.
Engage with architects and engineers for design collaboration and code reviews.
Identify, report, and prioritize product bugs and enhancements.
Work with core engineering and production engineering teams to improve backend reliability and troubleshoot production issues.
Write secure, enterprise-grade integration code and well-designed, testable, efficient code.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices for technical documentation.
Participate in on-call rotation.

7+ years of business/information/solution/technical architecture experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant STEM field (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
3+ years of experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
Deep technical expertise in integration technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, JMS, JDBC).
Experience using Linux/Unix environments.
Proficiency with Core Java.
Experience with Relational Databases, SQL, and JDBC.
2+ years of experience using AWS technologies (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, EC2).
Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD processes.
Exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills.

Workforce management integration experience.
Experience with integration platforms such as Workato, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, or SnapLogic.
Technical consulting experience.
Experience with Docker and other isolation technologies.
Experience working with external applications integrations end-to-end such as Workday or SAP.
