The Senior Integration Engineer will develop and maintain Integration & Automation Solutions for Legion WFM customers.
This role involves building large-scale applications using public cloud services and integration design patterns within an enterprise solution architecture.

Design and implement scalable integration architectures connecting Legion with HR, POS, Payroll, and other enterprise systems.
Design, build, and test integrations using Workato.
Develop secure and efficient REST APIs within Legion's API-driven ecosystem.
Ensure high-performance, reliable integrations using modern cloud platforms.
Engage with architects and engineers for design collaboration and code reviews.
Identify, report, and prioritize product bugs and enhancements.
Work with core engineering and production engineering teams to improve backend reliability and troubleshoot production issues.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation.
Participate in an overnight shift (2230 - 0730) and on-call rotation.

7+ years of business/information/solution/technical architecture experience.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
3+ years of experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
Deep technical expertise in integration technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, JMS, JDBC).
Experience using Linux/Unix environments.
Proficiency with Core Java.
Experience with Relational Databases, SQL, and JDBC.
2+ years of experience using AWS technologies (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, EC2).
Experience with test-driven development and CI/CD processes.
Exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills.

Workforce management integration experience.
Experience with integration platforms such as Workato, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, or SnapLogic.
Technical consulting experience.
Experience with Docker and other isolation technologies.
Experience working with external applications integrations end-to-end such as Workday or SAP.
