- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Global Practice Leader for our product portfolio: Developer Platform, Professional services to join our growing team. You will take the lead to build a global practice of practitioners that can realise business outcomes for customers primarily through the capabilities within the Cloudflare developer platform.
About the role
- The Senior Practice Leader for the Developer Platform will build and lead a global practice of practitioners focused on realizing business outcomes for customers using Cloudflare's developer platform.
- This role acts as a product manager for professional services, responsible for creating service offerings, sales collateral, and delivery enablement to support various customer profiles.
Responsibilities
- Act as a product manager of professional services specifically for the Developer Platform.
- Prioritize and execute on building offerings based on alignment with strategic vision.
- Review information gathered by PS Leaders and other Practice Leaders to understand offering value propositions.
- Build sales collateral, scoping guidelines, project plans, and delivery kits/accelerators.
- Lead efforts to create and maintain selling and delivery enablement.
- Create fixed outcome service offerings for quick wins.
- Focus on a-la-carte add-on services and packaged services for different customer profiles.
- Own and launch internal and external marketing campaigns regarding new or improved offerings.
- Drive the team's comprehensive understanding of Cloudflare's Developer platform capabilities, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in professional services, practice architecture, leadership roles, or a developer-oriented customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of the professional services landscape and development platforms/frameworks.
- Ability to quickly prototype potential solutions and provide guidance on migration to robust applications.
- Excellent prior work experience as a Product Manager, Practice Manager, or Architect.
- Knowledge and familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Demonstrated progressive relevant experience defining, developing, and executing training strategies, operations, and action plans.
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing CDN, DDoS protection, WAF, load balancing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of Internet fundamentals, Networking, Security, Zero Trust/SASE, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, and APIs.
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Fluency in one or more additional regional languages
Workplace
- Hybrid role based in Sydney, Australia.
- Limited travel expected, with a requirement to attend 6-monthly PS leadership meetings in Lisbon and/or Austin.
- Some customer travel within Australia is anticipated.
