As a Product Sourcing Engineer for the Dive-XL team in Costa Mesa, CA, you will drive strategic supply network development and cost management for product hardware across lifecycles.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, quality, and manufacturing to accelerate product development and manage procurement.

Conduct supplier selection for a specific product, leveraging approved supplier list.
Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via concept scoping, feature trade-offs, total cost of ownership modeling, and joint design development.
Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM, working with Quality & Manufacturing, to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
Accountable for all NPI component procurement, on-time and correctly, to scale up manufacturing operations.
Manage the request for and associated verification of supplier related CAPEX throughout NPI.
Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
Complete the BOM risk assessment and develop plan per part analysis.
Lead all cost engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve to product cost, maximizing TCO across the product lifecycle.
Manage project schedules, identify critical path activities, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep initiatives on track.
Establish program structure, milestones, and operating rhythms to ensure accountability and drive results across the business.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or other related technical degree.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
