This is a 6-month fixed-term role with the option to convert to full-time, focusing primarily on technical hiring while also owning recruiting across the rest of the company.
You'll own full-cycle recruiting from intake to signed offer, building proactive sourcing and market mapping strategies to find top-tier talent.
As the dedicated recruiter, you will establish and improve baselines for time to fill, candidate response time, and offer acceptance.

Own searches from intake to signed offer, with a primary focus on engineering, data science, and AI/ML.
Take on sales, client success, clinical, and other searches as the business needs them.
Map the market, build target lists, and run proactive outbound sourcing.
Build and run talent-community and brand-awareness initiatives, creating recruiting content, job promotion, and outreach assets.
Design and execute proactive sourcing campaigns tailored to specific audiences using timely market insights.
Build verification into your process to spot fraudulent or misrepresented candidates early.
Run intake meetings that pin down qualifications and competencies and hold regular pipeline reviews with hiring managers.
Manage the ATS end-to-end, including stage design, automation, sequencing, templates, tags, and reporting.
Publish recruiting analytics that show funnel health and guide improvements.
Partner with the People team on offer development and on selling candidates on the opportunity.

Deep sourcing expertise, with a track record of filling technical roles through proactive outbound and market mapping, not inbound applicants
High follow-through: running many searches at once, responding fast, keeping your commitments, and reducing time to fill, with specific examples you can describe
A willingness to do whatever it takes to close a search, including the administrative work
A candidate-first approach, with clear communication at every stage and no one left waiting for an update
Comfort recruiting across technical and non-technical roles, and taking on searches outside your usual lane
Experience spotting and screening out fraudulent or misrepresented candidates, such as verifying identity and work history
6+ years of recruiting experience, including technical recruiting across engineering, ML/AI, and data roles, from entry-level through staff
3+ years recruiting in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment
Experience designing recruiting operations, including workflows, structured interviews, scorecards, and rubrics tied to competencies
Working knowledge of a modern ATS (Ashby preferred), including automation, reporting, and pipeline hygiene

Hands-on use of AI tools for sourcing and communication, with sound judgment about where automation is worth using
Experience recruiting in health tech or other regulated domains
Experience hiring for AI/ML specializations, such as MLOps, model development, deployment, and validation
Experience recruiting for sales, client success, or clinical roles
Experience with Ashby recruiting software
