About the role
- The DevX team at Robinhood builds and operates core developer infrastructure to support thousands of engineers.
- This role focuses on scaling CI pipelines, managing monorepo builds with Bazel, and improving developer onboarding and remote development environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize monorepo builds using Bazel.
- Own the remote build execution cluster.
- Scale CI pipelines to support thousands of daily builds.
- Manage GitHub repository configurations, pre-merge checks, and test executions.
- Improve the developer onboarding experience to reduce time-to-first-commit.
- Provide and maintain remote development environments.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining developer infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, or large-scale build systems such as Bazel.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in Go or Python.
- Experience with distributed or remote build execution systems.
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on developer productivity and engineering workflows.
