The Data Automation team builds tooling that helps our Data Platform engineers provision and use infrastructure to power core Klaviyo functionality and generate data-driven insights.
As an engineer on this team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our mission critical analytics infrastructure.

Design, build, and maintain mission critical analytics infrastructure
Work with a cross functional team to write technical design documents
Create system infrastructure
Write high quality code
Operate large scale systems in production
Review other engineer's designs and code
Provide technical mentorship to other engineers on the team and in the broader engineering organization

BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in a software engineering discipline
Highly skilled in using at least one modern programming language
Experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform or a similar infrastructure as code tool
Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud computing environment
Experience using Linux operating systems
Experience with OLTP and OLAP databases
Experience with high volume data processing and storage systems
Able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
Able to work with others on a team

This role may require up to 10% travel for purposes such as new hire onboarding, client or partner work if applicable, team meetings, and industry events.
