About the role
- The Senior Software Engineer will own the end-to-end development and technical success of significant features within a product module.
- This role involves designing and evolving scalable SaaS applications using .NET/C# and modern AI-assisted development tools.
- The engineer will be responsible for production health, compliance adherence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development and technical success of significant features within a product module.
- Design, build, and evolve scalable SaaS applications using .NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and Flutter/React.
- Resolve technical ambiguity and drive estimation and planning for assigned work.
- Design components with clear interfaces, extensibility, and testability, and lead technical design reviews.
- Drive testing standards and contribute to test automation infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance adherence and apply a security-first mindset, including threat modeling.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver customer-centric features.
- Own production health, including monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and incident response.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Write clear design documents and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale SaaS applications using .NET/C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server/NoSQL.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Flutter or React.
- 3+ years of experience building highly available, scalable, distributed cloud services (AWS or Azure).
- Strong system design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience using modern AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) in a production environment.
- Strong engineering judgment to critically review AI-generated code regarding security, performance, and data integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, continuously evolving product organization.
