About the role
- The Social Media Coordinator will join the Brand Marketing team to ideate, create, edit, and execute social-first content.
- This role focuses on shaping the brand's online identity and driving engagement, with a heavy emphasis on TikTok and Instagram.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily content creation and posting on TikTok to strengthen relationships with the sneaker, apparel, Trading Cards, and Vintage communities.
- Manage the end-to-end creator content process, including shipping product, reviewing submissions, and maintaining schedules.
- Oversee post formatting, product tagging, captions, and SOPs for owned content.
- Track content performance metrics including views, engagement, and GMV to inform future strategy.
- Lead weekly cutdowns and editing of live content, including music selection and rights clearance.
- Produce category-specific and celebrity stream cutdowns for organic and paid channels.
- Own and grow the StockX Trading Cards presence on Instagram through partner content and regular scheduling.
- Monitor and engage with the community across TikTok and Instagram.
- Stay ahead of platform trends and best practices to translate them into content opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Social, and Account Management teams.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and platform-specific best practices.
- Strong instincts for what resonates with Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
- Hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form content.
- Fluency in sneaker, apparel, and broader cultural trends.
- Experience with social analytics and performance tracking.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, real-time environments.
- Willingness to travel.
