About the role
- We are seeking a talented Client Software Engineer to join our team developing cloud-managed endpoint security applications.
- In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of endpoint security software across multiple platforms, helping deliver secure and reliable experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client-side software for Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C/C++, Golang, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with QA, product management, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues across multiple platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Help improve application performance, stability, and security.
- Learn and apply modern software development tools, processes, and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Good computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and system programming concepts.
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Experience developing applications for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Familiarity with Golang or willingness to learn and work with it.
- Understanding of multithreaded programming, debugging, and software troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience developing system services or endpoint software on Windows or macOS.
- Familiarity with Windows internals, security concepts, or driver development.
- Familiarity with macOS system extensions, Endpoint Security Framework (ESF), Swift, or Objective-C.
- Experience with cross-platform development and platform-specific APIs.
- Exposure to cybersecurity or endpoint security products.
- Familiarity with Vue3.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with mobile development (iOS or Android).
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
