- The Software Engineer I will develop, test, maintain, and support enterprise applications within a global data and analytics environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on defined business and technical requirements.
- Develop, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-based applications and services on AWS.
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, web services, XML, JSON, XSL/XSLT, Free Marker Templates, and messaging technologies.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures, and support database performance tuning.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and reusable code in accordance with established coding standards.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Participate in code reviews and address feedback related to code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, release activities, and application configuration.
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes for production incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Practical experience developing and supporting applications on AWS.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications across development, testing, and production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience developing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications on AWS.
- Experience supporting cloud-native, serverless, event-driven, and data-processing workloads on AWS.
- Experience with Jenkins or Harness CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with application deployment, logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support in AWS environments.
