About the role
- The Senior DevOps Engineer will drive innovation, reliability, and security across cloud infrastructure for the Edwin AI team. This role focuses on managing multi-cloud environments, automating infrastructure, and implementing modern DevOps practices to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Expand and manage application hosting across AWS and Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain Terraform or similar installers for Azure and GCP to automate infrastructure deployments.
- Design and implement AWS cost optimization strategies including reserved instances and right-sizing.
- Strengthen infrastructure security with access controls, encryption, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
- Build and enhance monitoring platforms using Grafana dashboards and Prometheus alerts.
- Implement RBAC and optimize Ingress controllers for Kubernetes security and delivery resilience.
- Create Python and Bash scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
- Proven experience with AWS and GCP in production environments.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS), container orchestration, and cluster security.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and alerting/monitoring systems.
- Understanding of network connectivity including private link endpoints, VPC, and cross-account connectivity.
- Experience deploying automated Canary and Integration testing pipelines and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying LLM-related solutions including MCP, LangFuse, Airflow, GraphDB, VectorDB, and Redis.
- Experience working with developers on on-demand JIT access to production clusters using tools like Teleport.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
