About the role
- Snowflake is hiring a Sr Engagement Manager for the Frontier Engineering team in Singapore.
- The role leads both business growth and delivery success of Frontier Engineering across the region, owning the full cycle from opportunity creation through delivery and continued growth.
- The Sr Engagement Manager acts as a trusted advisor balancing customer business outcomes with cloud data strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own accountability for Frontier Engineering quarterly bookings, consumption, and utilization targets across assigned accounts and region.
- Partner with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and delivery leadership to identify services opportunities, scope engagements, author proposals and Statements of Work, and lead internal Deal Review and investment approval processes.
- Own and be accountable for the bookings forecast across your Book of Business, tying every engagement to clear customer outcomes.
- Design and continually refine the delivery roadmap for key accounts, managing project progress, schedule, deliverable quality, and risk management.
- Serve as the initial point of escalation for customers and project teams, earning trust and leading decision-making in difficult situations.
- Own project financials, including revenue forecasting and cost control, balancing healthy margins with customer satisfaction.
- Provide delivery quality oversight and guidance by assisting in the creation and execution of the overall vision for service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Own, manage and communicate the operational relationship with assigned clients, including the creation, implementation, and tracking of relationship roadmaps.
- Build mid-to-long-term account plans and Data Cloud roadmaps with account teams, and design co-delivery and co-selling models with SI, GSI, and ISV partners.
- Lead practice and operational improvements, mentor and coach delivery consultants, and drive delivery governance through QA reviews and health checks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a Sales and Services Delivery role, or equivalent experience, spanning complex enterprise technical projects such as cloud DWH and data platform implementation, modernization, or AI/ML adoption.
- A proven track record of achieving quantitative KPIs such as bookings, utilization, and consumption in a delivery or similar organization.
- Experience negotiating with and managing executive stakeholders from CxO to VP level across sales, delivery, product, and partner organizations.
- Direct experience in the data warehouse, business intelligence, or cloud data platform space, or equivalent experience.
- Both strong business literacy and technical understanding: able to translate customer business goals into Snowflake platform scenarios and discuss architectural and implementation constraints.
- Clear, concise cross-functional communication with a track record of leading diverse groups toward consensus.
- Strong organizational skills and ownership, with the ability to autonomously manage multiple projects and accounts in parallel.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting local-government customers and understanding public-sector procurement, compliance, or data requirements in Singapore.
- Experience in a technical advisory role such as solution architect, technical account manager, or system administrator.
- Hands-on project experience with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud or other cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience collaborating within a Data, AI, or Analytics partner ecosystem across SI, GSI, and ISV partners.
