About the role
- As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist with financial planning and budgeting, analyze financial statements and be responsible for the support and maintenance of our FP&A and Accounting systems.
- This position will have the opportunity to interact with multiple finance and technical teams across Fictiv, providing a broad exposure to the business.
- This is a senior role shaping how Finance and Business Applications work together, not just operating within the systems and processes already in place.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the support, planning, analysis, and delivery of our key financial tools, as well as running and maintaining their integration with other Fictiv's systems.
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the planning tools are up and running and to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist with the recurring forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close.
- Automate data retrieval tasks via reports & dashboards.
- Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new systems and new reports and administer those reports going forward.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of existing business application architecture, including integrations and data structures.
- Assess and standardize financial processes across all global regions and entities, accounting for local requirements, and ensure they are supported consistently in NetSuite and the planning tools.
- Identify the data needs for Financial tasks and communicate with Data teams and other business partners to close the gaps.
- Troubleshoot problems that Finance's teams encounter with Fictiv's tools and systems, including but not limited to the planning tools, NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, and Sigma.
- Interface with external software vendors for product issues, troubleshooting and resolution; initiating Service Requests (SR's) as necessary with other 3rd Party Vendors.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of driving change in cross-functional financial systems and processes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field is required.
- Required experience with implementation and management of financial planning systems such as Hyperion/ NSPB or Anaplan.
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle ERP systems (required).
- Ability to translate financial and business processes into ERP system design.
- Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations and inter-company dynamics.
- Has served as a system owner or administrator for an ERP or FP&A platform.
- Track record of partnering directly with IT/Business Applications leadership to shape system design decisions.
- Skills in tools for efficiently querying large databases.
- Understanding of Financial Statements and Finance and Accounting principles.
Preferred qualifications
- A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, Odoo, Sigma (desirable).
- Preferred at a technology or manufacturing related business.
