About the role
- SpaceX is seeking a full-life cycle Technical Recruiter to support the Starlink division as it scales across engineering, supply chain, and technical operations.
- The role involves managing a high-volume workload, sourcing passive talent, and acting as a consultative partner to hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Review internal and external applications
- Conduct passive candidate searches
- Interview candidates
- Act as a consultative recruiting partner to clients
- Understand role requirements and organizational fit
- Develop and execute strategies to maintain a pipeline of passive talent
- Maintain relationships with clients and candidates through clear communication
- Find creative ways to engage candidates during initial outreach
- Manage a high volume of clients and requisitions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to comply with ITAR regulations
- Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must be based in Irvine, CA and work onsite full-time
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting experience in engineering, supply chain or other niche disciplines
- Experience with in-house recruiting
- Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles
- Full life cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing to closing
- Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data
- Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent
- Expertise in non-standard recruiting methods like cold calling and ad hoc networking
- Experience interfacing directly with director and VP level technical leaders
